MEET YOUR DISTRICT 3 COMMISSIONER, DANNY POOLE

I have coached at West Raleigh for 32 continuous years.  I have had over 15 Cal Ripken teams from 9-12.  I was head coach on our first teamto win a US National Championship in 2004 and took another team back to the 46/60 World Series in 2019.  I have had the chance to win numerous regionals in each age group from 9-12.  I have been District Commissioner since 2019.

I have 3 children and six grandchildren.  I am currently the Assistant Chief of Logistics for the City of Raleigh Fire Department, with over 43 years on the job.  My son is a Captain with the Raleigh Fire Department. My oldest daughter works  for the State Bureau of Investigation of SBI and my youngest is a police officer in Chesapeake Virginia.  My oldest grandson is playing at West Raleigh in the MCP Division, 5-6 year olds.

I am currently the President of the West Raleigh Exchange Club and a board member of the West Raleigh Baseball Committee.
